DigitalBits is a U.S.-based blockchain project developing an open-source ecosystem for branded currencies, NFTs, stablecoins, loyalty assets, and other digital tokens. Their vision is to expand blockchain adoption by enabling fast, low-cost transactions and providing accessible tools for users, developers, and enterprises.

Business context


DigitalBits needed more than a single wallet application, they required an entire ecosystem built around the XDB blockchain. The challenge was to create a scalable platform that could support high-load transactions, provide reliable tools for traders and developers, and deliver secure applications for end users.

Operating with limited benchmarks (due to the early-stage nature of the blockchain), the project demanded deep research, rapid iteration, and continuous adaptation to emerging requirements. Geniusee’s role evolved into long-term ecosystem engineering, infrastructure optimization, and product expansion.

Solutions we implemented


Blockchain architecture & infrastructure setup

We designed a scalable, cloud-based blockchain infrastructure using AWS, enabling high performance under heavy load. This included Horizon servers, DigitalBits Network nodes, multi-layer security hardening, and full IaC automation for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

Web & mobile application ecosystem

Our team built multiple user-facing products, including mobile wallets, a non-custodial browser extension, trader tools, and blockchain explorers. This expanded DigitalBits from a single-app concept into a full-featured ecosystem serving end users, developers, and enterprise partners.

Continuous development using Kanban

Given the project’s evolving nature, Kanban ensured transparent communication, rapid delivery, and flexibility. Through ongoing iterations, we added new features, optimized workflows, and improved infrastructure reliability.

Competitor analysis & tech research

To ensure ecosystem viability, we conducted deep research into competing blockchains, UX patterns, validator tools, and crypto standards. This helped inform design decisions and strengthen the platform’s feature set.

Blockchain infrastructure

We set up and maintained the complete blockchain environment, including auto-scaling DigitalBits nodes, Horizon services, secure access layers, load balancing, blue–green deployments, and a real-time monitoring system for metrics and logs.

Mobile crypto wallet

A cross-platform mobile wallet (React/Cordova) lets users register accounts, store tokens, make transfers, check balances, and view transaction history – all secured through the DigitalBits blockchain.

AstraX Chrome wxtension

A non-custodial browser wallet enabling users to sign blockchain transactions directly from the browser. Fully integrated with XDB Explorer and DigitalBits Laboratory tools.

XDB explorer

A web-based analytics tool providing insights into all blockchain activity – transactions, performance charts, explorer views, and detailed transaction-level data for users and developers.

DigitalBits portal

A web application for managing accounts, checking balances, performing transactions, and accessing the order book. It also includes a TestNet environment for experimentation.

Laboratory & developer tools

A suite of UI tools that allow developers to build, sign, and submit transactions while exploring node endpoints, network states, and smart contract parameters.
